Sensitization
Sensitization of stakeholders is one of the main activities in CLPOA’s training calendar. Sensitization of Police Officers on Child Rights and Child Protection has been quite successful with Kolkata and West Bengal Police. Sensitization of allied system staff is also carried out on children’s issues.
- A NGO Code of Conduct has also been prepared incorporating all legal formats that every NGO should use. This acts as a handbook to NGOs.
- In technical collaboration with “Ogilvy & Mather”, Posters on Child Participation and Child Protection have been developed.
- CLPOA is developing a library with books and journals on children’s issues.
